enchanting place in surigao del sur

this trip was not really in plan.. my mom texted me that they are going to have a trip somewhere in SURIGAO.. Since alam ko na a lot of beautiful places in SURIGAO na nafeature sa television kaya without a second thought i said "yes".. it was 7 hours road travel from Davao.. pero masaya kasi maraming magagandang tanawin habang nasa sasakyan.. first destination we had was the ENCHANTED RIVER

it has a blue-green brackish water..mas maappreciate mo sya pag may goggles ka para makita mo ang ilalim nito. habang nasa ibabaw ka lumalangoy sa baba naman may ibat ibang klase ng isda na lumalangoy.. and the reason why it is called "enchanted river" dahil evry 12 noon, kapag nag ring na ang bell lumalabas ang mga malalaking isda para kakain.. you will really amaze and for sure itatanong mo kung saan sila galing at bakit sila lumalabas kapag nag riring na ang bell..

second destination was tinuy an falls. tinuy an is a bisayan term for "sadya".. sasadyain mo talaga syang puntahan dahil sa sobrang layo.. pero worth it naman.. kung ganito ba kaganda ang madadatnan mo..

. may five layer-falls na pwede mong puntahan.. so far ito ang pinakamagandang falls na napuntahan ko..

and final destination namin ay ang doll house.. kaya sya tinawag na doll house kasi sa loob ng isang bahay maraming collection ng ibat ibang klase ng manika,... pero bago mo sya marating kelangan mo munang dumaan at umakyat sa 100 steps na hagdanan tulad nito..

nakakapagod pero sulit.. if you are planning to go somewhere for a vacation,, try to consider surigao del sur.. it's really amazing and for sure,, sulit...

the PHILIPPINE CINEMA has just evolved into a more mature and yet wholesome approach of masterpiece. i was so confused of what the movie is all about. my friend was always inviting me to watch this movie for two major reasons. first, you will be surprised of the twist and turns of the movie and second, you will surely surprise of ANGEL LOCSIN and AGA MULACH'S performance.. angel was so daring and sexy so as aga. but since these 2 people are known as highly respected actors of Philippine show business, still the movie looks suitable to any generation who would love to watch it. STAR CINEMA never limits their capacity to make such good movies like this. two thumbs up!!!!!!

my one week CMDI experienced

i spent one week training at CARD MRI DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (CMDI), the one and only training center for microfinance in the country and asia.. wow proud to be a CARDian.. our training was actually not just a training. it was a realization of what CARD is all about. a wake up call on our duties and responsibilities as staff and a bit of personality development. it was such an honor and privilege to be chosen as one of those who want to undergo training. this is a preparatory stage for higher responsibilities as front liner of the institution. our two-day in house training and review was awesome.. it was challenging and nerve wrecking stage. we had our discussions and after every topic we had a short exam.. it really freaked me out.. my hands were shaking, and i didn't even enjoy our meal.. that was really challenging.

the rest of the days were spent on field. i was assigned in TIAONG 4 unit, DOLORES branch. i was lucky enough to be assigned in that unit because the staff were cool and approachable.. especially their unit manager Ma'am Macky. i forgot to take pictures with them as a souvenir.. tsk tsk.. but i was able to thank them for their warm welcome and being so supportive..

it was indeed a fruitful week to all of us who had undergone a one week UM READY TO GO TRAINING.. everyone passed the exam and of course,, me and ate ninia got the two highest spots.. heheheeh.. congrats to all of us.. happy reading

what's in the st. giles hotel?

i don't know how to give a review on a place where i considered myself as stranger. well let's see.. this is just based on what we experienced during our two-day vacation at Makati city.

i was with my friends last February 25-27 in makati to take a short vacay. we asked an assistance from our friend JEHZLAU para mag guide sa amin since we are totally strangers from that place. unang kinonsider ni JEHZ yung tutuluyan namin. sabi nya maganda daw sa ST. GILES HOTEL kasi okay yung accommodation. it is located at the center of the city where everything is accessible. when we reached the hotel after a few minutes ride from the airport, we were astonished on the beauty of lights in the city.. pag pasok namin sa hotel, napaka relaxing ng ambiance sa lobby. wala masyadong arte ang mga corners. it looks simple yet elegant. sa elevator naman, natutuwa kami sa pag gamit ng blue card na itap lang sa laser device para umandar.. ang saya.. heheheh..

sa rooms naman, although maliit lang sya pero maximize lahat ng space. maliit and refreshing pa with white covered bed and fully air condition rooms. may cable flat screen television pa.. everything is perfect. sa 2nd floor naman, kung saan pwede kang kumain, perfect yung food nila. ang sarap and very organized yung setting. hindi kalat. sayang nga lang at hindi namin nagamit ang pool and gym nila located at 35th floor..

nung umalis na kami, parang we don't wanna leave yet.. nakakamiss yung place... parang gusto ko ng tumira doon for the rest of my life.. hahahahha

JEHZEEL LAURENTE-was once a student in a public school who preferred to eat papers and towels than snacks during recess time.. well those were the days.. talking about popularity,, i guess he was born to be a celebrity.. during our high school days, he was already popular because among the students, he was the only one who has a fair white skin.. the rest,, hmm,, brown.. lol... he caught the attention of most our teachers when he presented his own version of solar system.. it was really nice and fascinating.. since then, sinubaybayan na siya.. he was also our STUDENT SUPREME GOV'T president.. he won over me.. huhuhu.. so sad.. heheheh... he became our batch salutatorian and bagged most of the awards during our graduation..

when we were in college, naging DOST president sya for the whole davao region and graduated with flying colors... simula noon,, marami na syang followers sa friendster, facebook, twitter at blog.. kaya gumawa ako ng entry na 'to kasi i just read an ARTICLE na featured siya.. ganoon na sya talaga kasikat.. whew... i could really say na at his very young age,, millionaire na sya.. wooohhhh... kaya minsan umuwi sya dito sa davao,, nilibre nya lahat kaming mga friends nya.. hehehehe,,.. pero yun nga too busy sa kanyang mga ginagawa... did i answer my own question? hmmmmm

pauwi na ako ng bahay namin ng may sumakay na magpamilya (father, mother, 3 year-old boy, and a 1 year old kid).. may dalang pet na isda ang nakatatandang anak. "daddy, ang cute ng isda oh".. sabi ng ama "oo.. pero wag mo masyadong higpitan ng hawak ang plastic at baka di makahinga".. habang kinukulit ng ama ang bata,, lahat kaming nakasakay ay napatingin sa kanila.. nakaka aliw kasi.. tapos nagpa flashback din sa akin ang aking kabataan.. nung iniinis ka ng ama mo sabay lambing.. tapos nun,, habang nakatingin kami sa kanila, biglang sinabi ng ama, " di ba masarap yan?" sabi ng bata " oo".. "gusto mo, lagyan nating ng asin, kamatis at sabaw" sabi ng ama.. "cge po daddy", inosenteng sagot ng bata.. "tapos,, sisipsipin mo ang mata ng isda ha" biro ng ama... "ha? ayaw ko pa.. kawawa po ang isda" sabay sumbong sa kanyang ina... napatawa nalang kami sa naging reakksyon ng bata.. yun bang feeling helpless.. heheeh.. sabi ng mama nya "ay hindi naman yan nakakain.. kaya di sya pwedeng lutuin"... "eh diba nag ihaw tayo ng isda kahapon. tapos kinain mo ang mata ng isda at sarap na sarap ka pa nga" sabi ulit ng ama.. napatango lang ang bata.. "so, mamaya lagyan natin ng asin yang isda mo ha, tapos sibuyas at kamatis" sagot naman ng inosenteng bata, "tsaka po lagyan natin ng sabaw".. tawanan kami lahat sa jeep... tapos mayamaya pa ay bumaba na sila... hahahahaha

habang binabaybay ko ang kahabaan ng boulevard, biglang napahinto ang sinasakyan ko.. "naku traffic na naman".. oppss,, nagkaroon pala ng rerouting.. dahil every december, ang san pedro st.ay sinisirhan para bigyan ng opportunidad ng pamahalan ng davao ang mga kababayan nating micro entrepreneur. mayroong mga booth at pwesto ng "ukay-ukay".. sa kabilang kalye, ang daming nakahilirang ukay-ukay na bags, shirts at kung anu-ano pa.... sa gabi naman,, kasi na abutan kami ng gabi sa magallanes at gutom na rin,, minabuti naming kumain sa may city hall drive ng mga grilled foods.. sakto naman kasi may free live band pa.. kaya kahit umulan kagabi,, tuloy pa rin kami sa pagkain.. hahahaah..balak pa namin palang puntahan ang rizal park dahil fascinating ang mga lights na nakabitin pero di na namin kinaya ang ulan.. parang 1 month pa atang may ganito sa davao..

i am so worried about what i heard and saw on the news. every morning as i open the television, it always says that the rate of dengue cases is rapidly increasing. mostly, children below 13 years old suffered from dengue virus in our region.. i too suffered from this illness 4 years ago.. and i know how difficult and how dangerous to be on that situation... everyday seems to be your last day.. but fortunately,, i survived.. am,, few months ago, we conducted several sessions on how to prevent dengue carrying mosquito also known as AEDES EGYPTI.. i learned so many things about this mosquito.. there life cycle, preventions, and etc... actually there is no specific medicine for this virus.. your survival depends on your system.. but i'll give you some pointers on how to prevent the dengue carrying mosquito..

1. cover all your water containers and change the water in your flower vase twice a week..

2. wear long sleeves and pants to avoid mosquito bites.

3. fogging could also help but mosquito would just fly few meters away from your house and back again after few hours..

4. use mosquito repellent to prevent mosquito from sucking your skin...

5. as a summary, preventions #2-4, just make it a habit every early morning and late afternoon, to prevent dengue carrying mosquito..

in case that you already acquired the virus, here are some tips to help boost your immune system...

1. drink tawa tawa juice. i tried this one, and it was really effective..

2. eat durian fruit..

3. drink gatorade..

4. of course prayer could surely help...

hay naku,, daming bawal.. bawal ang softdrinks, beer, mga matatabang pagkain, coffee at kung ano ano pa.. hirap talaga pag high blood. last week kamuntik na akung mag collapse.. sumakit yung nape ko tapos nahihilo ako na para bang nasusuka.. (buntis?).. hahaha.. kaya nag pacheck up ako sa doctor.. pagkuha ng blood pressure ko,, at my very young age,, 139/86 ang result.. kaya nag leave ako for half day para maka pagpahinga.. huhuuhu.. kakainis,, hanggang ngayon nga, feeling ko nahihilo parin ako.. huhuhuhu

this was the question asked by our area manager, ate aileen castillo, during our staff meeting.. i asked this question before.. why am i still working in CARD MRI? at first, i was submitting my application for the reason that i need job..i need job to earn salary and sustain my needs.. but as years pass by, i realized that it's not the salary that makes me stay here.. hindi naman kasi kalakihan ang sahod.. the only reason why it's so hard to let go of this cycle, and the non negotiable part of being a CARD MRI staff, is the fact that you are considered as an instrument to the people who need help, financially, morally and spiritually.. though tough times could perhaps shake your faith and your ego as a person, but by the time that you heard people and see how you touched their lives through your services rendered to them and to their family, everything will be paid off.. often times,i got discouraged (no need to mention those things that make me feel humiliated), but i just think that everything happens for a reason. and i am still searching for the other reasons why God put me in this institution.. ehhehehe..

alternative medicine for sore eyes

it was just yesterday, i almost have sore eyes due to, perhaps our present climate condition.. it has been said that too much exposure of your eyes without any device protection can cause sore eyes. i was really afraid then because i don't want to absent from my work because of this stupid virus.. huhuuhu.. to somehow ease the the sore of my left eye, i looked for a grass or shall i call it herbal plant that my mom usually gave when i was a kid.. this plant is commonly known as "tawa-tawa".. it is also effective to those who suffered from dengue virus. you just have to boil on water for about 5 minutes and drink its extract juice.. but for sore eyes, you just have to cut its stem until a white extract comes out from the stem.. tama ba? heeheh.. basta,, then put atleast 2 drops of that extract to the affected part of your eye and that's it.. after an hour, the redness of your eye will be cured.. proven and tested by me... hehehee

i was about to leave the office when i heard something that was fallen from somewhere... when i checked it out, i saw my N79 phone on the floor, as in wasak pati battery natapon.. i don't know how did it happen.. i just placed it on the water dispenser para mag charge kasi lowbat ito... i thought it was the end of my old cellphone.. i was afraid actually kasi mawawalan ako ng phone if that will happen.. huhuhu.. pero im very thankful to God kasi walang major damage.. until now,, gamit ko pa din sya.. heheehhe.. amazing noh?

since i was a child, my perception when it comes to politics is " it is the dirtiest game ever".. simply because people, admit it or not, are longing for power, fame and wealth.. and the closest way to achieve this is thru politics.. heheheh.. you will do anything, whatever it takes just to win the game.. in my own point of view.. well anyway,, if you are watching news, surely you are aware of this ampatuan scandal.. i was kinda shocked when i heard the news that around 40 plus people, including the media, were killed by the troupes of ampatuan when MAGUINDADATU camp files for a candidacy in their area.. so sad.. for those who are not aware of this ampatuan clan,, they are considered as one of the most powerful clan in mindanao.. their children who are studying in ateneo de davao university and san pedro college have their own body guards.. i thought it could only happen in the movie like "prince and me" and other movies related to royal families.. and so back to the topic.. yeah,, it was really a shockimg news to everyone..another devastating image here in mindanao..

she's very excited for the trade expo to be held at world trade center on oct. 12-17... as far as i know, dapat 2 weeks sya doon pero she has her final exam pa sa oct.17 kaya mapapa aga ang balik nya dito sa davao.. first trade expo experience nya eh dito mismo sa davao sa BANGKO SENTRAL yung venue... kaya excited daw sya kasi more foods and other handmade products ang kanyang makikita doon.. hehehe.. sarap sigurong pumunta doon.. sayang naman.. hehehe...

nightmare at FELIS Resort

terrible moment... that's how i felt after our 2-day seminar at Felis Resort, Matina Davao City. why terrible? it has nothing to do with the facilitator and the event. it was cool and fun.. the problem was, something wrong with the resort.. maraming nawalan ng gamit at pera.. we do have suspects pero hindi naman talaga ganun ka strong yung evidence. somehow, masasabing may kapabayaan sa management ng resort.. though, it was posted on their lobby "we are not liable on any loss of your property", they are still liable and accountable kasi within their premises nangyari ang ganung bagay.. another problem was,, walang may hawak ng susi ng room kundi ang management mismo.. hindi ba dapat may susi ang isa sa mga nag rent ng room para secure talaga ang lahat ng gamit.... at hindi ba dapat kung maglilinis man yung mga attendant,, eh after pa nang uwian ng mga clients nila? eh naglinis sila,, nandun pa lahat ng mga gamit sa loob.. kung ano mang mawala doon,, number suspect eh sila talaga.. pero hindi ako nambibintang ha.. hehehe.. sinasabi ko lang yung opinion ko.. may nawalan ng 500, 300, at ang mas pinakapanalo sa lahat... kinuha yung 2 ATM cards.. tagam si managerger... buti nalang at na block kaagad.. pero kahit papano,,naging aware ang management ng resort na ito para ma improve nila yung security at services nila..

hahaiii... for the nth time, i failed... i don't know what's my problem.. perhaps, this is not yet my time.. i took the opportunity to apply in one of the support units of CARD MRI,, the O and A unit. this unit is responsible to provide all the supplies and maintenance of whole MRI.. i had my interview or shall i say orientation.. kasi it was more on the orientation regarding the job responsibilities "if ever" matanggap ako.. though i don't expect that much pero andun parin yung hope na matanggap ako..

REASON:

the only reason why i want to leave the operation, is because i want something new and something different. to be honest, i'm so tired of being here doing the daily routine. when you wake up in the morning, you're doing this and that, then encounter inconsiderate members, then follow up, then go to bed.. the next day, you're doing and experiencing same thing.. repetitive works make me sick... that's why i decided to apply in O and A..

OUTCOME:

i just knew from somewhere na may na hire na.. unfortunately hindi ako.. huhuhuhuhu.. kasamahan ko rin.. so sad...

REACTION:

at first, disappointed.. i said," na naman".. but i tried to see the positive side.. baka may iba pang plan si LOrd.. pero at the back of my mind,, why not me??????.. ganyan lang siguro ang buhay..

PROMOTION???:
this is what my manager said.. he said,, kaya siguro hindi ako natanggap kasi for promotion na daw.. pero promotion is not a big deal to me.. same lang naman ang trabaho ng manager sa katulad namin.. mag differ lang talaga sa position at konting difference sa sahod.. pero if it is the reason why i did not make it to O and A,, okay be it..

ever since, i don't have any idea what microfinace is all about. i don't even recognized the existence of this institution.. then the time has come to finally dig up the world of microfinance. it helps a lot especially to our fellow men who strive hard just to survive the daily living.. they provide services that would really help, if and only if, we are dedicated to our dreams, that is to alleviate poverty through business.

and that what makes me proud to be a part of one of the leading microfinance institutions in the country; the CARD MRI.. sometimes our job can be misinterpreted by the people who have shallow understanding on the microfinance world. i just want to emphasize the difference between microfinance and lending institution. both are into money lending process. people may borrow money to start or to add capital on their business.. like any other bank, CARD bank is also doing the same thing.. this is really freaking.. i can't believe that this virus could reach our place. all classes are suspended here from primary to tertiary level.. rumors said that a half Japanese half filipino kid with here pinay mother brought that virus from japan. but upon having a series of test at DAVAO MEDICAL CENTER (DMC), they were negative from influenza H1N1 virus. but still not sure if davao is safe from that virus...

how would we know if we are infected with this virus? here are some signs and symptoms of H1N1 victim.
for kids:
-Fast breathing or trouble breathing
-Bluish or gray skin color
-Not drinking enough fluids
-Severe or persistent vomiting
-Not waking up or not interacting
-Being so irritable that the child does not want to be held
-Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough

for adults
-Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
-Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen

what are the common preventions for this illness...?

oftentimes i prefer to drink soda instead of water after meal to satisfy my thirst. i know that it is not healthy and water is still the best liquid to intake to maintain a healthy lifestyle... (tama ba?).. but aside from this, the reason why I'm so addicted with soft drinks is that, it helps to lower my temper and keeps stress away. i don't know if it is just a psychological effect or caffeine drives away the bad spirits every time i'm down.. cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

davao, as one of asia's livable cities, is now growing in terms of business opportunities. yesterday, Robinson's cybergate has formally opened for business transaction. it is not as big as SM or Gaisano mall of Davao pero sosyal syang tingnan.. hehehe.. just last week,, i was so shocked when i saw this establishment in BAJADA.. "CAMELLA NORTHPOINT".. wow,, another not so high class subdivision will be established in the heart of davao.. it only means,, more establishments,, more opportunities for work and income for the benefits of the DAVAOenos.. hehehe

i guess this is not really my day.. since yesterday, ang dami ng kapalpakan.. i don't know if it was just a joke pero parang totoo na rin.. kasi simula kahapon,, may color coding na sa aming company. monday,, dapat naka white, tuesday, naka light pink, wednesday,, light yellow,, thursday light green at friday wash day namin.. i wore white polo shirt last day with just a bit of print sa upper right chest ko (blue).. sabi ng manager namin,, i did not follow the proper color coding daw.. kasi yung iba ko raw kasamahan talagang white polo talaga.. super kagalang galang ang dating.. huhuhu.. ako naman,, semi body fit pa na may print.. pero i took it as a joke.. kasi pwede naman daw iyon sabi ng iba kong kasamahan.. napag tripan lang daw ako.. pero okaylang naman yun.. it was not a big deal to me.. pero yung pinaka terrible,, yung kanina.. mali naman talaga namin.. hehehe.. kasi yung philhealth loan ng members namin, delayed namin na process.. kaya ako ang napagalitan sa bank kanina.. hindi sana ako ang mapagsabihan kung himdi ako nag insist na ako ang mag remit kanina,.. kaso gusto kong bumawi kahapon.. ngayon pa eh im wearing light pink na polo na kagalang galang ang dating.. pero wrong timing ata.. kaya instead na yung unit head ang mapagalitan,, ako pa ang napagbuntungan.. huhuhu.. ako na naman... yoko na,!!!!!!!!! yoko na!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yoko na'ng magremit sa bank!!!!!!!!!!!! huhuhu

after a restless week cause by the double collection, i decided to do something refreshing.. kaya sumama ako sa island hopping ng mama ko at ng kasamahan nya sa trabaho.. nilibot namin ang TALIKOD ISLAND. it was my first time na lumangoy sa dagat na may lalim na 20 feet.. pero i wore a life jacket for safety purposes.. di kasi ako marunong lumanoy.. ahhaha.. awkward nga yung feeling eh. pero the worst thing about that tour,, hindi ko nadala yung camera ko.. hiniram kasi ng pinsan ko at medyo natagalan sya sa kanila kaya di agad naibalik sa akin.. sayang yung mga views.. hanep sa puti ang mga buhangin at ang clear ng dagat.. kita mo talaga yung mga sea snakes.. yung mga places pala na napuntahan namin, first stop namin sa angel's cove, second, sa dayang para mag lunch, tapos sa coral garden, tapos sa isla cristina, tapos sa isang casino na hindi ko tanda ang pangalan, at last pero dumaan lang kami, sa PEARL FARM... grabeh ang ganda ng samal.. try nyo punta doon.. hehehhe

this was the first singing contest na sinalihan ng aking pinsan.. it was never in our plan na pasalihin sya. pero since andyan na siya, at hilig nya ang pagkanta, we encouraged her to expose her talent. anyway nobody knows her identity kasi bago lang sya sa aming lugar kaya napilitan na rin sya.. hahaha.. after the contest, ang sabi nya,, para lang daw syang nag videoke sa isang videoke bar.. heheheh... it was really fun.. the best araw ng aming barangay so far...

this movie is undoubtedly an award winning one. a one of a kind and definitely a unique movie that would touch the heart of the viewers. before, when i was watching the news, i thought that this movie was a boring and like the rest of the movies, the theme would be revenge of a slave to his master or a humiliated person becomes reach and etc. but when i saw the movie, i was really excited what would happen next. the twist in the movie was unpredictable and surprising. you really don't have a clue what will happen next.. it's really really fantastic. i'm looking forward to see more movies such as this. habang kumakain kami ng tanghalian, napag usapan namin yung tungkol sa sitwasyon ng isa naming member. her live-in partner is working abroad for 2 years na. ang problema, buntis siya. paano nangyari yun kung 2 years ng wala ang kanyang partner. kaya tuloy, laman ng usapan ang kanyang pagbubuntis sa kanilang komunidad.. kawawa naman din talaga yung kanyang partner.. habang nagpapakahirap doon ang kanyang partner, sya pala rito ay nagpapakasarap sa piling ng iba... (alam nyo na yan).. pero sabi ko, malay natin kung may ibang babae rin ang kanyang partner doon.. sabi ng kasamahan ko, okay lang daw yun kasi lalaki yun.. pero kung babae,, hindi magandang tingnan...??????????????????

i strongly agree sa statement nya.. pero, narealized ko, bakit kaya ganun yung ating kultura.. okay lang na gumawa ng kalukuhan yung mga lalaki pero kung babae hindi okay.. let's have a reality check:::

I received a message from my cousin informing me that francis magalona has passed away at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. i am not a big fan nor a fan of kiko but knowing all his contributions to the industry, sayang talaga ang kanyang pagkawala. i was watching eat bulaga kanina, and was touched by the message of his friends in the industry. as i have observed, hindi lang sa pagkamatay ni kiko, kundi pati na rin sa ibang tao, tsaka lang natin narerealized ang worth ng isang bagay pag nawala na sa atin. hindi na kasi naririnig ni kiko yung mga appreciation at panghihinayang ng mga tao sa kanyang pagkawala. cguro, suggestion ko lang ito ha, bakit hindi natin ipractice yung LIVING FUNERAL. i read this tradition on MITCH ALBOM'S "TUESDAYS WITH MURRAY". kung saan, habang buhay pa yung tao, atleast naririnig pa nya yung mga bagay na dapat nyang marinig.

hmm,, got confused when i saw this shop at SM City Davao.. out of confusion, i went inside the room and found out that it was a boutique. shirts and dresses were really looked good and expensive. then i realized why this shop has its name "people are people".. because people, in general are luxurious. no matter how much it costs, as long as it could satisfy and give them glamor, then go for it. admit it or not, we have this desire. to look the best way we want. then who says that we are in global crisis? as i have observed this past few weeks, students were very busy for their JS promenade. dresses were impressive (dress to kill), and as if it was their final show to offer. at the back of my mind, is this what they called global crisis? hehehe.. people are just people!!!!!!! no doubt............

first day of the week is not that good. started with a chaotic meeting of two out of three meetings. i was really stressed as i ended my second meeting. daming problema. first, unmatched signature of guarantors sa loan proposal. second, unorganized flow of center meeting. third, unbalanced total of center collection. fourth, follow up payment of unpaid member and last, YUNG TUMAKAS NA MEMBER that has a great impact on my performance. i was really upset when i saw the word PASTDUE on my collection sheet. eversince, i haven't encountered this situation, ngayon lang!!!kakainis.. i was asking for help sa aming Regional head na gamitin yung center resolution para sa mga tumakas na member, pero she never gave me a chance. well, it was a challenged to me na hanapin yung member. pero saan?????????????????????????.... for the whole week, i was searching anywhere, asking help sa mga members, pero wala.. until last saturday, center chief gauzon, declared her as MISSING.. kaya, mas namomroblema ako... huhuhuhu.. pero sabi nga ng friend ko,, VALEDICTORIAN namin nung high school, "NEVER SAY DIE".

this afternoon, just this afternoon, i went to their area to gather more information about her new address. fortunately, i had her address on my hands.. pero di ko pa talaga alam kung saan yun. para makasiguro, humingi na nman ako ng tulong sa aking kasamahan sa ibang unit. tnx to Ms. GRACE ACA sa pagsama to locate her. kaya yun, kahit pinahirapan ako ng member kong ito,, S-M-I-L-E parin.. plastik na kung plastik... hehehe.. kawawa rin naman kasi sya.. basta, as of the moment, i'm done with these kigwah problems.....

movie review

oh no, wanna try this one. this is my very first time to make a review based on the movie that i recently watched. last february 14, since we agreed on a group date, we opted to watch a movie first before having a gimik somewhere in torres st. we decided to watch "when i met you" which starred KC CONCEPTION AND RICHARD GUTTIERREZ. do i spelled it right?

the movie was about how love works in two individuals who are trying to make things right in a wrong time. tama ba? hahaha. basta, si benjie (richard) is a pilot and love interest of tracy na isang business woman. at first their relationship eh okay pa pero, everything changes when jenny (kc) was invited in a beach wedding sa palawan. mangyari kasi, since papunta rin naman ng palawan si benjie for the said wedding, pinasabay nalang si jenny. pero, as usual, pinoy talaga, late dumating si jenny kaya seaplane ang kanilang sinakyan. tapos pag pinoy movie, away-away kahit di pa masyadong kakilala kasi daw late dumating. and suddenly, may problema sa engine ng plane kaya nag emergency landing. natrap sa isang island ang dalawa. again, pag pinoy movie,, mag aaway kaagad. magsisihan para makabuo ng kilig factor sa audience. tapos may mag beg for some help. tapos may rescue team na dumating. doon na nagsimula ang kanilang lihim na pagtingin. hahaha.. pero the best part sa movie eh yung sa grocery store na muntik ng mag abot si benjie, tracy, jenny and albert (alfred vargas). and the predictable scene basta pinoy, yung sa airport. just watch the movie para makarelate kayo. hehehe

sa acting ability naman, well i have nothing to say but great. sa character ni benjie, natural na kay richard na ganun. yung maypagka antipatiko, maangas ang dating at medyo palaban. but im not saying na ganun talaga sya. baka aawayin ako ni tita annabelle nito. heheheh.. sa character ni jenny, okay naman kaya lang medyo hindi bagay kay KC. may pagka jologs kasi si jenny. si kc, kahit anong pajologs ang gawin, lalabas pa rin ang pagka elegante nya. the way she talked and moved sa movie. kay tracy, it was a revelation to me. kasi i thought iya could only do pa tweetums role. pero dito sa movie, daring ang kanyang role and obsessed kay benjie. kay albert, bagay din kay alfred yung role.

as a whole, the movie was good and entertaining. hehehe..

she just passed the civil service examination this year. she took her examination last november 16, 2008. she was confident then but wasn't sure if she could pass the exam since a lot of people failed to make it. at first, she told me about her plan of taking the exam for eligibility purposes. but i suggested not this time. just wait after your graduation. baka magiging cum laude sya this year, tapos pag magtake sya ng eligibility exam tapos di xa makapasa, sayang din. i've known some people who are really intelligent and smart but didn't pass the exam. baka matulad din sya sa kanila.
just yesterday, she texted me about the procedures on how to get the certificate of eligibility. i was surprised and asked her if she made it or not. she said, "yup, i checked it on the internet".. congratz sis.. hehehe.. for more details, visit their site.

in my 22 years in existence, 5 most unforgettable yet embarrassing moments in my life as far as my mind could remember:

#5: this was during our LAKBAY ARAL in Laguna. well, it was really my first ever airplane trip. so expect that something mess could happen. hahaha.. while the stewardess checking something to serve, she was asking me what to drink. syempre, super slang naman yung nakatoka, sabi nya, "sir what do you want? coffee or water?" pero yung pagkasabi nya ng water eh,, "waer".. sa mga nakapag call center dyan, dba this is how you pronounce this word. hindi ko masyadong na gets, kaya sabi ko,, "coffee" with all the smile. hahahaha. kalaunan narealize ko na water pala sabi nya, kasi sa tray or yung parang cart nila, may tubig kasi. hehehe

#4: sa Mcdo naman ito, favorite hang out place ko is Mcdo talaga. i don't know why. pero that time i was with my sister and my officemate or shall i say areamate. hehehe.. so, pila na kami. nung time na kami na yung mag oorder,, sabi ng babae, "what's your order sir?" order din ako ng ayon sa napagkasunduan. tapos sabay order na rin ng dessert. sabi ng babae, may bago kami sir yung mc flurry with caramel or hot fudge. sabi ko, parang natikman ko na yung caramel. for a change iba naman. pero di ko masyadong na gets yung tamang pronunciation kaya sabi ko sa kasamahan ko, yung hapadge nalang. hahahah.. sa table na kami doon ko lang nalaman sa resibo na hot fudge pala.. waaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh super kakahiya.. huhu dami pa namang tao.

#3. kahapon naman ito. galing kami ng SASA wharf para mag validate. sabi ko sa aking manager na punta muna ako sa VICTORIA PLAZA kasi may kukunin ako sa aking kapatid. while taking my way to AGDAO palengke sakay ng pedicab, i was expecting na may 20 peso bill pa sa bulsa ko. pero pag dukot ko wala na. tiningnan ko sa bag, wala rin. and they only penny that was left on my bag was just php 4.00. eh sa pedicab palang php 6.00 na ang pamasahe. sabi ko, bahala na. habang ako palang ang pasahero, "kol, kol, 4 lang gud akong kwarta kay nabilin sa balay akong wallet." sabi ng driver, "ok lang wlay problema" hahahah.. hehehe.. pagdating sa palengke, pumunta na lang ako sa unit office ng CARD bank sa agdao para manghiram ng pamasahe sa aking kaibigan papuntang VICTORIA.. huhuhu.. ayoko ng maulit pa ito. mabuti nalang at mabait ang driver. hehehe

#2. medyo matagal-tagal na ito. mga 2nd year college pa ako nito. summer yun kaya nasa dagat ang setting ng kapalpakan na ito. kasama ko mama ko at kasamahan nya sa trabaho. medyo mahangin yung time na yun kaya mdyo malaki at malakas ang alon. medyo paranoid ang mama ko pag nasa dagat kami. until now kahit na malaki na ko paranoid pa din. hahhaah.. ok back to the topic. sa kabilang cottage, andun yung mga teachers ko nung highschool at anak nila na kakilala ko rin. syempre, papansin rin ako,, kasi college na daw at yung tinatawag nila na nag grow-grow up na daw. kaya yun pumunta sa tabing dagat at nag eenjoy sa malalaking alon. at ng.......,,,, tinawag ako ng mama ko (pasigaw) "em em,, ali dri bantay lang jud ka! ayaw diha kay kusog ang balod! hmmmppp,, ali na!"... grrrrr,,, napahiya tuloy ako.. amf!!!!!

#1. hahaha.. habang kinukwento ko ito sa aking mga kaibigan, natatawa talaga ako pag binabalikan ko itong kapalpakan. kasagsagan ito ng KAPAMILYA caravan sa DAVAO. syempre,, davao eh wala gaanung celebrity na nakikita kaya ganun nalang ang pagkasabik na makakita ng kahit iilan lang. kaya pumunta ako sa activity area ng JS GAISANO southmall. akala ko kasi andun si HEART,, wala pa sya... pagpuna namin doon, ang daming tao. puno yung area. para lang makalapit, pumunta ako sa harapan kahi na siksikan. nung nasa harapan na ako, parang walang hangin. parang patay yung aircon. hahahah.. parang nag dilim na yung paningin ko.. hahaha.. kaya sinubukan kong makaalis doon. pero iba na yung pakiramdam ko. parang nag numb na yung buong katawan ko. pagkalabas ko sa area, wala pa rin hangin. kaya para di lang mag collapse if ever, kahit di ko kakilala yung 2 taong nasa harapan ko, nakisuyo na lang ako.. kumapit ako sa kanilang likuran.. wwaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh grrrrrrrrrr... "bai, pagunit sa ha, kadali lang" hahahahah.. sabi ng kasamahan nya,, "tara na uli nata".. ggrrrr.. parang natakot sa akin. ahhaha.. sabi ko hindi pala madali ang maging fan. hahahahah.. kakainis talaga.. hehehe

guys, if you are here in davao, you have to visit this cool shake stand. it has the cheapest price compared to any special shake here. the name of their business is "WHIP SHAKE" and is located in front of the ateneo de davao university. actually im not familiar kung saan ba talaga ang harap ng ateneo. basta yung dinadaanan ng Obrero na jeep papuntang boulevard...

back to the shake thing, actually, one of the owners of this business is my friend. tapos they just invited us to visit their stand last saturday. i thought, simpleng shake lang. to my surprise, may pagpipilian pala. may rocky road, pandan, toffee, at kung anu ano pa. when we tasted it, wawwwwwwwwww,, super delicious.. sa halagang 18 pesos lang sulit na sulit.. daig mo pang nag mc flurry, mr. softy, pearl cooler, at kung ano pa mang pampalamig. basta harap lang sya ng ateneo. medyo hindi agad sya mapansin kasi maliit lang talaga ang kanilang pwesto. parang booth lang sya na nasa loob ng carenderia.. pero sulit talaga.. hehehe

for almost a month na akong hindi naka pag update. the reason behind is the AUDIT. every six months, audit will visit our branch here in davao to check our transactions and status of the branch. so, kinakailangan ang puspusang pag hahanda. from files to transactions and everything that is related to our work. mga centers na may mga problema during meeting, dapat organize na daw. pero parang wala pa rin eh. hehhe. for 2 weeks na mag stay ang taga audit sa branch para maghanap ng mali. hehehe. and we thought, na ngayong araw na ito pupunta sa aming unit. pero sa iba pala. kaya medyo delikado kasi, bukas is my worst ever day. hehehe.. okay naman ang first 2 centers, pero yung pang huling meeting yung problema. masyadong magulo at walang ka buhay buhay ang mga members.. grrrrrrrrrr... what will i do?

masaya na malungkot ang naging xmas vacation ko. masaya kasi daming magagandang nangyari, malungkot kasi, kuya ko eh nagdala ng isang bata na maituturing nating pinagkaitan ng Tadhana. kailangan kasi ni kuya na ma obserbahan ang mga gawi at kilos ng mga taong may kapansansan kagaya ng nasabi ko kanina. Yung nasa PIcture, from left, ako, sister ko, JAYRAN, tapos kuya ko. Si Jayran yung batang tinutukoy ko. kung titingnan nyo sya, isa syang normal na tao. pero hindi siya nakakarinig at nakakapagsalita. nakaka awa lang talaga kasi deprived sya sa mga bagay na karaniwang inienjoy ng mga normal na tao. ako'y may depekto rin pero kahit papano, nakakasabay ako sa mga normal. through sign language ang aming communication. di pa nga namin kabisado yung ibang signs. pero kahit papano may natutunan kami sa kanya. Ayon sa kanyang kwento, mga 1 year oldf palang daw sya, ulila na sya sa ama at ina. inampon sya ng isang pastor at lumaki sa isang lugar dito sa Davao na kilala sa pangalan na Deaf Mistry Institute {DMI}. ang maganda dito, nakakapag aral sila ng libre at natutugunan ang kanilang pangangailangang spiritual at pisikal. sa mga sandaling nakasama namin si Jayran, na appreciate namin kung gaano kahalaga ang ating pandinig at boses. kaya sana gamitin natin ito sa tama at kapakipakinabang na mga bagay. dahil kung hindi, marami ang mga katulad ni Jayran na nangangailan nyan.

2008 was a great year for me so far. i received lots of blessings in any ways. i gained more friends and got a chance to explore the other part of this country. ever since, i really don't like wearing accessories or anything that is attach to my body. but year '08 really made me a luxurious one. i bought my very first "Timex Expedition" wrist watch and have my very first DSC S750 Sony Cyber-Shot. though i was too expensive that time, amm,, still my first choice is "ukay-ukay".. hehehehe.. yeah, i really enjoyed my "ukay-ukay" days together with my friends and sometimes, "all by myself".. hahahaha.. i don't know what '09 brings into my life. i wish for more blessings and more opportunities.. hahha

uuwi kasi sana ako sa amin bukas, pero due to members' request, i should attend their Xmas party daw.. kaya wala akong magawa. once a year ang kasi it pwedeng mangyari eh. of all the groups that i handled, ito yung surprisingly mag paparty sa bar.. sosyallllllll.... knowing na mga nanay na ito,, hehehe,, gusto pa palang gumimik.. hala cge gimik to the max bukas.. and by next week, isa ko pang grupo eh sa beach, invited na naman daw ako. last sunday lang, we've been to samal para sa party ng dati kong center.. this is what i like about my job. dami kang makikilala at marami kang napapasaya sa kaunting bagay na na impart mo sa kanila.. kainan na naman... :)

kung mamalasin ka nga naman. almost everyday, during releasing of loan eh short ako palagi. kakapagod at nakakapanghinayang mag imbuna eh.. huhu.. last week,, ako ang nakatukang mag Cashier in charge (CIC). kamuntikan na akong mashort ng 2000. buti nalang at na trace ni kuya juwan yung shortage. kaya instead na 2k, eh 44 pesos nalang. pero short pa din.. last monday, short ako ng 50, tapos kahapon, 50 ulit at ngayon,100 na naman.. grrrrrrrrr.. ano ba naman to. nagtatrabaho ako para magkapera hindi para tumapal ng shortage.. huhuhu.. ang kinatatakutan ko eh yung next week na release. sa thursday ata yung release namin sa aming members na umabot ng 485,000. naku, delikado ako neto sa shortage.. huhu. wag naman sana..

yeah, we made it. we made it to the finals. hehehe. i was not expecting that we could reach this far. "survivors" as we call ourselves. sa dami ba namang dinaanan, from management to staff to members, sus, gusto ko ng mag quit..hahaha..pero sayang, dami pa naming matutulungan. non negotiable kasi sa akin yung tulong na pwede naming maoffer sa mga members. for a year in my service, i thought okay na ako sa work ko. i thought i could handle my job well. from transaction to transaction, i thought marunong na talaga ako.pero akala ko lang yun.... huhuhu.. dami ko kayang palpak. sa pag motivate ng members medyo kulang pa.. huhuhu.. daming findings ni sir allan.. tapos during releases of loans,, grrrrr,, super bagal ko.. feeling ko nga, nababagot na ang aking mga kasamahan.. huhuhu.. dami pang palpak sa loan proposals.. ewan ko ba.. sa dati kong unit, okay naman lahat.. parang ako pa nga ang "STAR" sa aming unit hahahaha.... pero sa bago kong unit ngayon, falling star na.. hahahahah...

sus grabeh ang tagal kong na update blog ko. kakahiya na sa inyo. hehe. syempre im here with my fresh update regarding my lakbay-aral in Laguna. it was really really fun pero bitin nga lang kasi three (3) days lang kami. pero it was one of my greatest happenings in life so far. kasi it was my first time na sumakay ng airplane. at first kinakabahan baka in the middle of the trip eh biglang mag malfunction yung makina at mahulog yung plane. hahaha. everytime na may turbulance na mangyayari, medyo napapikit na laang ako. hahaha.. medyo may kalayuan pala ang laguna sa manila. cguro dumating kami from davao mga bandang 3 pm na ata yung. tapos dritso kami sa CARD MRI DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (CMDI), isa itong semi-hotel na training center ng CARD sa TRANCA LAGUNA. malamig doon at nakaka relax. malayo sa ingay at polusyon.

sa day one namin, pumunta kami sa iba't ibang sangay ng CARD. andun yung CARD MBA, insurance company ng CARD, CARD BDS, maketing institution ng CARD, CARD BANK Bay branch,Head office ng CARD sa San Pablo, International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) na kung saan ang mga professor namin nung college ay dito pumunta upang magsagawa ng isang research regarding Rice production. last stop namin sa LILIW. mga mumurahing paninda pero hindi ako nakabili gawa ng hindi ko type yung mga nandun. hehehe. pwera lang sa espasol at uraro. ang sarap.. yum yum yum/... tapos day 2, pumunta kami sa BAhay ni RIZAL. ang ganda pala doon. am,, sya nga pala, kung gusto nyo makita mga pics ko, add nyo ako sa friendster ko. m2factorial@yahoo.com. tapos the rest of the day sa tagaytay na. ganda ng mga tanawin sa tagaytay. lalo na sa PEOPLE'S PARK IN THE SKY. marami akong nabiling t-shirt doon na tagaytay ang print. tapos uwi na kami. ammm,, pumunta pala rin kami sa PICNIC GROVE at PARADIZOO.. heheh..

oo nga no? why i keep on updating my blog for in the first place i earn no money on it due to its low adsense income. Imagine, for two weeks, $0.10 lang yung income.. poor blog.. heheh.. tsk tsk sa aking birthday nag away kami ng isa sa pinaka close kong kaibigan sa high school.. ewan ko ba kung away ba yun or what.. basta iba ang dating sa akin eh.. ang point ko lang naman eh damayan sya sa kanyang kalagayan.. hindi kasi natuloy ang kanyang kasal dahil hindi magkasundo ang kanilang pamilya. hindi ko rin alam kung sino ba ang may deperensya. tapos ang masakit pa dyan,, hindi naisilang ang sanggol ng buhay. kailangan kasing pwersahan kunin yung baby dahil kung hindi sya yung mamatay. high blood kasi sya.. hindi ko rin alam na ganun pala ang nangyari. nalaman ko nalang nung october 16.. so, pag uwi ko ng probinsya, habang ako'y nasa bus, tinext ko sya. tapos yun nagreply. medyo okay naman sa umpisa. kalaunan, naglabas na sya ng kanyang hinanaing.. bilang isang kaibigan, binigyan ko sya ng payo at inencourage ko sya.. sabi nya, ba't ko raw sya papayuhan. hindi daw nya kailangan ng payo namin. sino ba raw kami na nag aadvice sa kanya. wala raw kaming karapatang panghimasukan ang kanyan damdamin dahil hindi daw kami ang nawalan.. (ouch!!! sakit nun ha).. tama naman sya. pero ang sa akin lang, kami yung nasa tamang pag iisip. kami yung nakakaalam sa kung ano ang dapat gawin. nababalutan na kasi sya ng puot at paghihiganti.. at ang mas nakatawag pansin sa akin ay yung message na "aw,, sya nga pala, wag mo akong sabihan ng ganyan. kinuha nya nag baby ko".. kasi text ko sa kanya.. surrender everything kay God. at sya na ang bahala sayo.. parang naninibago talaga ako sa kanya.. cguro nga dahil nasa stage sya na ground zero na talaga.. pero sana naman maliwanagan na sya.. tsk tsk.. saddest gift ko ito sa aking birthday.. hahaiiiiiiii..

people would probably say that i am the most down to earth and humble person on earth. i heard them say that i'm cool and fun to be with. we'll that's the lighter side of me.. i tried to maintain it to somehow gain and win more friends. for i believe that we need friends to survive in this cruel world. we have to be versatile in any ways. and i couldn't consider it as "kaplastikan", perhaps it's "pakikibagay".

i was suffering for two nights of high fever and decided to have a half-day leave from work. just this morning, i decided to go back from work though i felt dizzy and a bit uncomfortable due to headache. pero sayang yung leave credits eh. and when i reported to the office, i was so shocked when everybody, including the regional head and area manager asked my health condition. " oh moimoi, how are you? what happened to you last night? are you sure you're okay now?" these are just some of their questions when i entered the office. to my surprise, i just nod and smiled. then i realized, whaw,, they are soooo concerned.. i mean, i've never felt that way before.. just to check me if im okay, they really touched my forehead and neck if my fever got low.. i am so blessed with the people who really give value to my presence..

i'm so glad that TASK FORCE DAVAO did an implementation for strict inspection. it helps a lot to protect the region and the lives of the people. for almost two months, Davao region was threatened by two consecutive bus bombing that killed hundreds of people and ruined the future of a fetus inside a woman's womb. it was really a nightmare that even i could not imagine why such people/person did this without thinking that he/she is trading his/her soul to satan. i could not comprehend why they are doing this kind of activity.

oppss, we missed the opportunity to celebrate the annual DAvao FEderation of ECOnomics Students (DAFECOS) held at USEP Obrero Campus last saturday September 6, 2008.. it is an annual festival of Economics students in the Region. it aims to develop the camaraderie among students from different Universities and Colleges in Davao area. it includes USEP, UM Davao, UM Tagum, UP Mintal, ADDU, and Holy Cross of Davao College. and for 3 consecutive years, USEP bagged the championship title. hehehe.. isa ako sa mga nag contribute ng title na yun.. unfortunately, we, graduates, missed the opportunity to witness the annual festival for the ECONOMISTAS...!!!
